I got to spend a amazing week in Sydney and I can honestly say that Sydney has some awsome things to offer…
1. Sydney Opera House
Probably the most famous building in Sydney but pretty impresssive though. You can just walk around or do a guided tour. Anyway, you will be impressed by its architecture.
In the late afternoon and evening the Opera Bar is a great place to be. You can not only have a nice drink but also the most amazing view and atmosphere!
It’s beautiful during daytime, but during nights it’s magical!
2. Coastal Walk Coogee to Bondi
Probably my favourite thing to do in Sydney – the Coastal Walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach. The walk is about 6 km long and takes about 2 hours or more. It all depends on how often you stop and enjoy the view or watch the surfers. I can say I stopped pretty often because the view is just amazing! Between Coogee and Bondi Beach you’ll also see other really nice little bays and beaches.
When you arrive at Bondi Beach you will pass the famous Bondi Icebergs. Bondi itself is also really nice and has heaps of cafes, restaurants and nice shops.
3. Tongara Zoo
Let’s go to the zoooooooo! For me, going to the zoo never gets old. Especially when it’s a zoo like Tongara!
The zoo is super easy accessible. Just take the ferry from Circular Quay to Tongara Zoo and then catch the cable car to the main entrance.
You even have a really nice view!
4. Manly
Just take the Ferry from Circular Quay and within 30 min you will arrive in Manly. It feels like not being in an big city anymore but being in a holiday town. Normally there is also a nice market on Sundays
You can find cute cafés and restaurants everywhere.
The best thing when going by ferry is that you have a amazing sunset few on your way back into town.
5. Botanical Garden
Maybe you need a break from all the sightseeing or you simply want to relex for a short time. If so, I can definitely recommend you to head to the botanical garden and relax on the grass under a wonderful tree.
6. Blue Mountains
You can easily go on a daytrip to the Blue Mountains. To keep it short – the view is just breathtaking…
